AWS - re:Invent 2020

For AWS re:Invent 2020, Monks collaborated with the AWS Events team to redesign and develop the event website. The site offered a stable, high-performance experience to support the high visibility and traffic of this global event.

Using the Jekyll static site generator, we created a lightweight, efficient platform optimized for seamless user engagement. While AWS managed hosting and infrastructure, Monks delivered UX design & strategy, UI design, motion design, and all development work.

As Technical Director, I oversaw the project from start to finish, managing technical requirements, guiding the development team, and supporting internal and external project management and marketing teams to ensure a smooth and impactful delivery.
