Amazon Sustainability Exchange

The Amazon Sustainability Exchange is a dedicated resource hub for Amazon’s business partners, providing access to information, resources, reports, and data to help improve their sustainability efforts while aligning with Amazon’s initiatives.

The platform was built using Amazon's internal technology stack, featuring a statically generated ReactJS frontend and a backend powered by AWS services. Monks delivered UX design and strategy, UI design, and motion and animation design. Additionally, Monks developers integrated directly with Amazon’s internal engineering team as external contractors, contributing to the frontend development within Amazon's environments and tools.

In my role as Group Technical Director, I served as the internal executive sponsor, providing oversight and strategic support to both the Monks team and Amazon. I also acted as a technical escalation point, ensuring efficient resolution of challenges while fostering collaboration between the teams. Through mentorship and guidance, I supported the successful delivery of this impactful resource hub.
