Moncler - MONDOGENIUS 2021

For #MONDOGENIUS 2021, Moncler’s groundbreaking digital fashion experience, we created a bespoke platform to host a livestream featuring 11 Genius designers, interactive elements like polls and minigames, and five virtual metropolitan destinations. The platform elevated Moncler’s brand, reaching over 300 million viewers globally.

Built as a Single Page Application (SPA) with ReactJS and WebGL, the responsive and highly interactive site integrated with YouTube Live for pioneering audience engagement through chat-triggered interactivity. To manage the event’s high traffic, we implemented a microservice architecture using AWS SQS and NodeJS Lambda functions, while ZeroBounce ensured validated email signups integrated seamlessly with Moncler’s CRM system. The platform leveraged AWS technologies, including S3, CloudFront, and Lambda, for robust performance and cost efficencies.

As Technical Director, I was deeply involved in the project lifecycle, from technical requirements gathering and architecture design to overseeing development and infrastructure configuration. I also supported both internal and external project management and marketing teams, ensuring a seamless execution and delivery of this pioneering digital event.
